Giovanna was born May 18, 1925 in Brooklyn,NY but returned to Italy with her family as a baby. In Italy she met the love of her life Diego Adamo and they brought a beautiful baby girl Maria into this world. They all moved back to NY when Maria was 4. Giovanna worked many years as a seamstress and even after retirement she would continue to make beautiful clothing for her grandkids. She was also a wonderful cook.
Giovanna will be greatly missed by all of her family that she held so dearly. In her many years on this earth she was able to see her grandkids grow and also continue to share her stories with her great-grandchildren. A feat that not many people are lucky enough to have.
Giovanna is survived by her loving and caring daughter Maria, her granddaughter Jennifer, grandson Louis, great grandchildren Giavanna, Anthony and Luca, her sisters Josephine, Ana and Ida. Plus many more family members and friends that will always hold a special place in their hearts for her.
