James T. Zerga

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 21 years, moving from Staten Island, NY.

Prior to retirement, Jimmy worked in maintenance for the United Nations School in New York City for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Geri Zerga of Port St. Lucie, FL; three children, Michael Zerga of Ft. Pierce, FL, Carissa Zerga of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jason Zerga of New Jersey; three granddaughters, Brianna of Port St. Lucie, FL, Genevieve and Isabel of Ft. Pierce, FL; his parents, James & Ann Zerga of Long Island, NY; one brother, Johnny Zerga and his wife Angie of PA; and four sisters, Rosie Milazzo of Brooklyn, NY, Mary Lou and Lou Carrier of Largo, Florida, Anne Feldman and Theresa and Lou Pinella, both of Long Island, NY; and brother-in-law Val & JoAnn Somma of NJ.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 2:00PM – 4:00PM and 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL. A Service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 7:00PM at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Craig Bridgers officiating.

Burial will be Sunday, August 25, 2013, 10:00AM at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
