

Born in London, England, Jean was a writer and resident of Port St. Lucie for 25 years, moving from Indianapolis, IN.
She was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. She was a member of the Port St. Lucie Chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE).
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Walter Van Etten of Port St. Lucie, FL; three daughters, Linda Van Etten-Nerad of Chicago, IL, Victoria Hawthorne of Plant City, FL, Robin Van Etten –Policastro of Middlebury, CT; two sons, Stephen Van Etten of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kurt Van Etten of San Jose, CA; five grandchildren, Brett, Benjamin, Courtney, Adriel, Emily and two great-grandchildren Jade and Jazmyn.
Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2012 from 9:30AM-10:30AM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 2, 2012, 11:00AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL, with burial following at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
