John Palumbo

Born in St. Mary, PA, John was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 14 years, moving from Margate, FL.

Mr. Palumbo served in the US Army.

Prior to retirement, he was an Accountant forBuffalo General Hospital and Doctor's Hospital in Hollywood, FL for 33 years.

John was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Bernadine Hauth, and three brothers, Bernard, Arthur and William Palumbo.

Survivors include his wife, Claudette Palumbo of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-sons, John Medvec and his wife Gail of Oregon, Edward Medvec of Brooksville, FL, Jeffrey Medvec and his wife Jennifer of Prosperity, SC; one brother-in-law, Richard (Dick) Hauth; one sister-in-law, Nancy Palumbo of Syracuse, NY; six grandchildren, Jessica Medvec, Garrett Medvec, Jeffrey Medvec, Joshua Medvec, Savanna Medvec and Charlotte Medvec; niece and nephew, Cindi Giordano and Charles Hauth of Springville, NY.

A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 11:00AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
