Dear Dieter and Christa and Karen,

I am so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing from my and Mom and Dad,  I remember Kenny in his younger years when living in NJ and he grew to be a fine young man.  Our hearts truely go out to you,

 I write this as a p.s. to your life because things where not left unsaid between us. You knew everyday how much I loved you people envyed         us our relationship and for that I am and will forever be grateful to have a brother as kind, sweet, smart and funny as you. No one but us will ever know how lucky we were to have each other. I was always afraid to die but now I know you will be there to show me the way as you did so many times in life. The first thing I want to say is thank you for making me so happy. I will always cherish the memories we shared in these past few years happy,sad,good,and bad. Our recent dates to dinner,the movies, and the game rooms was just the beginning of our future together. I will never forget the jokes or the teasing about words I invented when talking too fast or the times we shared laughing till we both cried. You had told me you were at a point in your life where you felt you could tell me anything regardless of how it might have sounded. Some of the things you told me you had held in your heart and mind for many years past. Friends before Lovers was always repeated during our discussions about life. Your Mom was truly your number one concern. You loved her above all. You put her above everything and everyone else. Your Sister is the one person you said you could talk to about anything even us. You said she was your best friend next to me. Your Dad, you know how proud he was of you for being in the service and for getting your life back on track. I know how excited and proud you were about the ring he had recently given you. That pride showed on your face. You loved your Nephews so much and you always talked about steering them in the right direction to help improve their lives. This past summer swimming with all the kids Rayna,Nichole,Noah,Brittney,and Gabby you had so much fun. I will never forget laying together watching movies,talking,eating chips, and laughing. Fishing with Me,Ray, and the girls was always interesting. The many days we could not afford to do anything except play video games,watch movies,and talk for hours about nothing. I will never forget the day you had asked me to marry you. You asked me five times always getting the same answer,"yes" and yet I had to tell you we needed to do it right and wait awhile. We then talked for hours about growing old together. You treated me with more respect and love than anyone has ever before. You always held my hand or hugged me no matter who was around,what we were doing, or what we were thinking. As each day passes and I grow older I know that I also grow closer to reuniting with you. Our two soles shall share eternity together. In the meantime, I will miss you with all my heart and being. The love will never lessen and the dreams we share will be forever remembered and treasured. I will always love you.

Kenny......when the lights go down in the city...and the sun shines on the bay....this is a memory of you, me, karen and ant in the chevette back when our lives were so simple and we didn't even realize it. I can close my eyes and be back there in seconds and smile. You are a kind man, sometimes too kind but if more people had your sincerity and peaceful ways the world would be a  more forgiving place. We almost made it my friend but sometimes life gets in the way. I cannot believe I am looking at a sentence that states in memory of kenneth koch. Goodbye.... old friend.

Kenny was a schoolmate of mine for Graphics Degree. He was talented and a beautiful person. We were a small but tight group and Kenny was a beacon, he was always smiling. He will be missed and appreciated much. Strength and solace to his family, the world was blessed to have him... We all were.
