Leah was one of my son’s best friends. She called me mom and I love that she was the sweetest kindest, most beautiful girl I’ve ever met. We miss her every minute of every day. She was so smart so vibrant so full of life I loved having her at my house. She just lit up the house with happiness. She had such a beautiful smile and her laugh was contagious.You’re missed by so many I can’t believe it’s already been a year.  May you rest in eternal peace, sweet girl until we meet again.

I remember Leah in elementary.. she was such a beautiful and bright soul. We were best friends in elementary school, she would always bring me cough drops and we would call them candy lol, Up to this day i still have the folder she made me with a special note to say how proud of me she was to be going into middle school and how she was happy we were best friends, she was the sweetest soul ever and most of all loyal, she would always make sure to stick next to you so you don’t feel alone. After elementary i didn’t get to have a phone until I got to 7th grade and even then i didn’t have her socials or contact, I promised her we would be best friends forever. It’s sad that she is gone because she was such a ray of sunshine. I know she is doing better now, I have so much love for you Leah, my condolences to her family and brother, she may not physically be here but she is all around us, love you Leah <3

leah introduced me to my soulmate, she was loving and caring and always there for everyone no matter what. she was my friend since 2nd grade. i miss her and it’s still surreal she’s gone. such a beautiful soul may she rest in peace. you were taken too soon babygirl

I knew Leah from elementary school and she was an amazing and beautiful person ,we were never super close but i’m glad i was able to have conversations with her when i knew her. This breaks my heart as she was so young and had such a bright future in front of her. All my condolences and prayers are with her family during this time ❤️

Leah was a very close friend of mine at one point, she was like a sister to me. unfortunately going to diffrent schools caused us to grow apart,but when she was in my life she made a lasting impact. she allowed me to be myself and to not care about what everyone else thinks, being with her was nothing but constant laughter and joy. she had such a beautiful smile and the most contagious laugh. she was one of the greatest people I've had the pleasure of having in my life. She stuck by me through hard times, and never turned her back on me. The time that leah was in my life she made such an impact, she taught me how to have fun, laugh, let loose, and be myself.  She was like a sister to me at one point. Just one of the ways you made me laugh. I was not able to find toilet paper anywhere. I came home from work to this box in my mail.  I opened it and cracked up laughing, called your mom and you, and  laughed some more. I will miss your laugh, it was so infectious! Putting smiles on peoples faces was a natural gift for you.

This is a photo of our last visit in Jacksonville. If I hadn't moved to Maine a few months later, there would have been more. I will cherish this forever. I'm going to listen to your saying from now on and take the risks in life, so I don't lose the chances. Love you babygirl, always.

Leah helped me through some of the hardest times in my life we met when we both attended southern oaks middle school and ever since then we were pretty much besties she always knew how to put a smile on my face she was so full of joy and I’ll never forget the times we spent at the donut shop or us just hanging out in the driveway talking at 3 in the morning I love and miss you Leah so very much I hope your doing okay until we meet again !💔🕊️

If there was one thing I could say about Leah Herman it was that she was always a happy soul always kept everyone smiling, and always, no matter what had your back she was one of the most loyal people in the world I hope she rest so peacefully up there on the beaches of heaven❤️🤍
