Mary Ann Mecca

Born in Auburn, NY, Mary Ann was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL, moving from Merritt Island, FL and Syracuse, NY.

Prior to retirement, she was a teacher for the West Genesee School District in New York for 30 years.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Andrew T. Mecca and wife Tracey of Columbus, GA, Dr. Daniel J. Mecca and wife Carol of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Sue Lynn Mecca of Syracuse, NY; Mary Ann’s companion of 14 years, County Jay of Port St. Lucie, FL; four step-children, Stephen C. Huffstickler of Lincolnton, NC, Sharon Kelly-Brown of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jeanne Schowalter of Gastonia, NC, Carolyn Leslie Cernuto of Port St. Lucie, FL; five grandchildren, Jordan, Madison, Ryan, Melissa and Whitney and nine step-grandchildren.

Friends and family may call Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00PM.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Auburn, NY.
