Mike was the real thing, professional, smart, and courteous ( and a fun guy) .  For the 40 years we were in business we always felt safe and he truly cared.  He is one to emulate in this complex profession.  Mike will be missed.

Mike was truly one of a kind. I remember our days at Barnegat PD , 4-12’s we’re always so much better when Mike was on duty. I will remember his sense of humor, and the stories he would tell. Gods speed Mike

Not only will I remember him as a family of the Blue I remember his shenanigans at the Barnegat Deli.

Sherry,  growing up in Barnegat we all knew each other . We also knew the police officers and they knew us.  Mike helped us out more than once .  This is when police officers helped kids stay on the right path.  I think some still do but Mike embodied that spirit . He was always helping people. All around great guy.      We are so sorry that Michael was taken so early in his life.  He was a good friend and a brother at work for over twenty years.  Michael was always fun to be around even during our most intense investigations, his stories always kept us laughing. Michael always loved his job, even after he retired, he would always speak well of the old days. Both Melody and I loved listening to him and his stories.  We will miss 259.
