Michael passed away during a family trip snorkeling at Dubois Beach Lagoon in Jupiter, FL. He was born in Utica, NY, and lived in West Palm Beach, FL.He was an Electrical Inspector for the Palm Beach County Building Department. The happiest day of his life was just a few days before -- July 11, when he married his longtime girlfriend and made vows to her daughters during the ceremony. A lifelong University of Miami fan, friend to all animals and avid award-winning amateur photographer, Michael touched many lives with his quick wit, love of nature and twisted sense of humor. His cause of death was unknown at the time, but the people who love him most of all know that his heart was so full of joy and love that maybe it was too much for his body to handle. Fiercely patriotic, champion of underdogs and loyal to friends and strangers, Michael leaves behind many people devastated by his passing. His cooking abilities were incredible, and he loved to cook as much as everyone loved to eat what he made. His wedding was just a few days before, and all who attended were amazed at the beauty of the ceremony, which was written specifically for the ecstatic couple, the sincerity of the vows he and his bride wrote for each other, the depth of the love they shared and the unbridled fun of the reception. He is survived by his bride, Danielle and children, Emma and Maddy; grandmother, Flora Rabice; mother, Lori Manna-Nafis; father, Michael Manna; sister, Tracey Manna-Smith; brother, David Manna, Lesley Lax; Niece, Kayla Smith; Nephew, Dylan Smith; uncles, aunts and cousins, his best friends Bob and Ron, photography friends, golf buddies, Miami Hurricanes enthusiasts, hunting friends, loyal dogs, and neighborhood birds he loved to feed.
