

Born on the Naval Base in Guantamo Bay, Cuba, Robert was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 24 years, moving from West Babylon, NY.
During WWII, Mr. Hein served in the US Navy.
Prior to retirement, Robert was a Telephone Repairman for NY Telephone for 38 years.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 355 in St. Lucie West; as well as the American Legion Post #94 in Babylon, NY, serving as Drill Sgt and Sgt. at Arms.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Hein in 1986.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hein of Port St. Lucie, FL; a daughter, Barbara Hein of MO; two sons, Charles Hein of MO, Bill Hein of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Jessica DeJackome of NH, Robert Hein of IL; one great-granddaughter Natalie Hein of IL; and two sisters, Verna Riley of Jensen Beach, FL and Fern Kyerich of Long Island, NY.
Friends and relatives may call Friday, April 22, 2011 fro 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00 PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011, 11:00AM at the First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.
