Rosemarie was born on April 16th, 1958 in Hempstead, New York to Angelo and Mary Lorenzo. On July 7th, 1989, she married the love of her life, Raymond Fries. Together they raised their children, Jacqueline and Ray as well as two step-daughters Kelly & Lisa who she loved as her own. Although a New Yorker at heart, Rosemarie and her family moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida to enjoy the sunshine. Her happiest moment was becoming a grandmother to Kylie who she loved more than anything.
Nicknamed “Mama Ro” by friends and family alike, Rosemarie was an absolutely selfless woman whose mission in life was to take care of those around her. She was a fabulous cook and as a proud Italian, her meatballs were a family favorite. As the life of the party, her energy and humor were unmatched; she danced her heart out and was never afraid to have her voice heard. Most of all, she was a fantastic grandmother. She built a wonderful bond and friendship with her granddaughter, over many sleepovers, ice creams and swims in the pool.
Rosemarie will join her father, Angelo and mother, Mary, in heaven. She is survived by her husband Raymond, her children, Jacqueline, Ray, Kelly & Lisa, and granddaughter Kylie.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Dr. Port St. Lucie, FL from 4-6 PM. An additional service will be held in New York date pending. In lieu of flowers, please donate to GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, at the link below, as Rosemarie would be so pleased to continue to help others as a tribute to her memory.
