Victoria Wells

She was born on June 1, 1964 in Akron, Ohio.

Vicki graduated from Martin County High School, Stuart FL, in 1982 where she was a member of the varsity swim team.

She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught kindergarten and first grade in the Martin County Schools for 30 years.

In 1997, Vicki was Teacher of the Year at Crystal Lake Elementary.

For over 25 years she was a lifeguard, swim instructor, and age group swimming coach for Martin County Aquatics.

Whether it was in the classroom or in the water, Vicki impacted the lives of hundreds of children and adults in Martin County.

Vicki enjoyed going to the beach and collecting sea glass, traveling with her friends, FSU football, and spoiling her three nieces.

Vicki was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, teacher, coach, godmother, but, most importantly a friend. Our lives are forever changed because we were blessed to know her.

She is predeceased by her mother, Doris Bell Wells, and her father, Richard (Dick) Wells.

She is survived by her sister and brother in law, Amy and Dana Martin and her three nieces - Hannah, Madeline, and Emma as well as and her step-mother, Blanche Wells.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 29th at 11 am at the “Dick Wells Training Facility” at Martin County High School. Immediately following the service all are welcome to continue the celebration at Charlie’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill.
