Charlene was born in Rumford, ME, on September 6th, 1961, the daughter of Clayton and Rachel Weeks. She was a graduate of Rumford High.
Charlene was a woman of deep compassion, boundless kindness, and a generous heart. She had a gentle spirit that made everyone feel seen and heard, always ready to lend an ear to anyone who needed to talk. Her unwavering faith and love for God were the cornerstones of her life, guiding her words, her actions, and the warmth she shared with others.
Charlene found joy in life’s simple pleasures — sipping a Blue Hawaiian, trying her luck at the casino, and losing herself in the rhythm of her favorite music. She loved singing at the top of her lungs while dancing like no one was watching. Charlene had a gift for connection; she could talk or text for hours, and make you feel like you were the most important person in the world, but above all, her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her daughters and grandchildren. Her love for them knew no bounds, and her presence in their lives was a source of laughter and unconditional love.
She is survived by two daughters, Jessica Richards and husband Brian Richards, Kristen McKinnon and partner Aarron Hoyt, a bonus daughter (niece) Heidi McKay, grandchildren Kaylee, Zackary, Chase, Lily, Braylee, Nova, great-granddaughter Evelyn, sister Doreen McKay and brothers Clayton Weeks and Kevin Weeks, and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Clayton and Rachel Weeks, nephews Brian Godbout and Kolin Young, and the love of her life, Earl, "Chief" Baldwin.
We will be holding a celebration of life on May 31st in Bridgton for family and friends. Please reach out to one of her daughters for further details.
"Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen."
