

He was born in Chicago, IL on February 19, 1948 a son of the late Earl S. and Virginia (Lexow) Christensen Sr. He grew up in Chicago, attending local area schools, and after High School he joined the US Navy. While stationed in Brunswick, ME he met his future wife Murielle.
While in the Navy he worked as an Aviation Electrician (E-6). After retiring from the Navy, he went to work for D & J’s Garage in Hollis Center.
Earl also crafted jewelry in his spare time, making earrings and rings. He also enjoyed his Mac Computer, he even worked for Apple for a short time. He loved his Chihuahua’s owning many over the years and even bred them for a while. Earl also enjoyed traveling, and owned a few timeshares. A few of his favorite destinations were Florida and New Hampshire. He was also a Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and always supported his hometown of Chicago.
Besides his wife of 45 years, Murielle, he is survived by his son Erick Christensen and his wife Tammy of Westbrook, three grandchildren Ericka, Kayla and Meghan as well as his mother-in-law Yvette Rioux of Old Orchard Beach and his brother Lynn Christensen of Missouri.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Thurs, October 17, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Wilde Memorial Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Ave., Portland. A memorial service, with military honors to follow at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilde Chapel.
