Born on September 30, 1960; Gloria brought warmth and joy to everyone who knew her. Her deep love for family and friends was the cornerstone of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them; whether it was a quiet afternoon in the garden, or a lively gathering filled with laughter and stories, and oh my, she loved stories.
Gloria found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved being outdoors, tending to a garden, caring for her pets and livestock animals. She also loved taking scenic rides in a car. One of her most treasured traditions was attending the Cumberland County fair with her father, this remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Above all else, Gloria adored her family; she is survived by her beloved daughter, Jessica Jackson; three grandchildren: Justin Jackson, Destiny Jackson, and Michael St. Clair; her four great grand children: Marcy, Mitchell, Miles and Marjorie. Her love extended deeply to her siblings: Dan Harmon, Steven Harmon, Terri Fletcher, Henry Harmon III, Pamela Harmon, Ursula Budd and Ericka Harmon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends near and far.
Gloria now joins her grandparents, parents and others who have gone before her. Though she has departed this world, the impact of her kindness and love remains in the hearts of those she touched.
Gloria Ann Harmon will be remembered always for the joy she brought into every room and unwavering love she gave so freely. “Until we meet again, fly high”. A service will be held on August 9, 2025 at 2 PM at the Stroudwater Baptist Church, 1729 Congress St., Portland, ME.
