James Dale "JD" LeClair

JD was born on September 5, 1983, a son of James K. LeClair and his wife Teresa of Otter Creek, ME and Danette M. (Stayton) Baines and her husband George of Durham. He grew up in Carrabassett Valley and Rockland, attending local area schools and graduating from Rockland High School.

JD enjoyed music as well as several outdoor activities which included snowboarding, skiing, skate boarding and inline skating. However, in 2007, JD suffered a stroke which left him with right side paralysis, forever changing his life.

Besides his parents JD is survived by a half-brother Addison LeClair and a half-sister Rena LeClair both of Otter Creek, ME as well as a step brother Brandon Baines of Japan and a step sister Becky Foster and her husband Andrew of Buxton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Preble Street Resource Center, 5 Portland Street, Portland. ME.
