Joseph B Wojcik

He was the son of Joseph Wojcik, Sr., and Josephine Wojcik. Born on October 12, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ.

He attended schools in Elizabeth and Edison, NJ. He lettered in Golf in High School.

After graduation from High School, he joined the Coast Guard in 1966, attending the Coast Guard Academy in Groton, Connecticut. He was a crew member of the USCGC Humboldt.

Dad thought he would be traveling the country, when he was told he was going to be stationed in Portland. He thought Portland Oregon. He ended up in Portland, Maine in the middle of a snow storm.

Portland, Maine turned out to be a good port for him to land in.

He met and married his wife Barbara Haynes, on August 25, 1968.

Joseph was very involved in the Portland Real Estate industry for over 50 years. He shared his love of real estate, with his associates and friends.

He shared his love of boating with his friends and family.

He leaves behind, his wife of 55 years, Barbara Wojcik, and two daughters, Christine Wojcik and Susanne Wojcik.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday March 18, 2024 at Dimillo’s on The Water, in Portland, Maine. From 2 pm – 6pm.
