Kelly Paul Stucker, 52, of Falmouth, Maine, passed away from cardiovascular complications on May 24, 2023. Kelly was born in Morgantown, West Virginia to Audrey Fox (Paul) Bonnett of Millsboro, Delaware, and the late Robert Mitchell Paul of Washington, PA. She was a twin to Heather Lynn Paul, who died on July 1, 2005, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, while on a traverse climb of Cloudveil Dome in the Tetons. Kelly was step sister to Sara Bonnett Britt and Joshua Bonnett. She was half-sister to Callie (Moreland) Planas and Anthony Moreland.
Kelly graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. She was married to Frederick J. Stucker III in Key West, Florida. In addition to raising her family of four children, she worked in the mortgage and real estate businesses. Most recently, she worked at Ocean View at Falmouth. She was a much-loved member of the team and was recognized for her engaging personality, strong work ethic, and willingness to consistently exceed expectations.
She and Fred strongly loved and appreciated their Airedale and rescue dogs that they raised over the years, making them part of their big, loving family. Kelly ran the Marine Corp Marathon in 2009 and finished at #41 in her age group, and #299 of all women, at an impressive time of 3 hours and 37 minutes.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Frederick J. Stucker III and her children: Frederick J. Stucker IV, Olivia Valentine Stucker, Josephine Ann Stucker, and Heather Paul Stucker; her mother, Audrey Fox Bonnett; her in-laws, Frederick J. Stucker Jr. and Debbie Stucker, Gloria (Stucker) and Alan Ross, Jenny (Stucker) and Steve Bassett, and Sue (Stucker) and Bruce Earl. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her loving step-father, Steve Bonnett. Kelly is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Maine Medical Center and Mercy Northern Light Hospital for managing the care of Kelly over the past several months. They are truly God’s angels here on Earth.
Kelly’s kind spirit and compassion for others graced our world and touched the hearts of friends and strangers alike. Her life was our greatest gift, and she has now joined her sister, Heather, and departed family members in her heavenly home. Just before she died, she opened her beautiful blue eyes and smiled, and had the most serene look, as if in awe of beauty and light before her. We believe that she passed in peace, knowing that we were there with her. We love you forever, Kelly.
