Kristin V. Carter

Kristin was born on September 25, 1981 in Portland, ME, a daughter of Margaret A. Carter and her companion Danny Dyer of Scarborough.  She grew up in the greater Portland area, attending schools in both Portland and Scarborough, graduating from Scarborough High School in 2000. 

Besides the love and devotion she had for her three children, which was boundless, Kristin’s life revolved around Roller Skating.  She was a staple at the Happy Wheels in Scarborough for many years. 

Besides Eric and her mother, she is survived by her three children Kassidy Temm, and Brady and Kaleigh Steeves all of Scarborough.  She also leaves her sisters Sherri Carter of Chesterfield, VA, Catherine Dadiego and her husband Joey of Auburn, Pam Oakes also of Auburn and Kristi Dyer of Westbrook, her brother Eddie Oakes of Windham and her Maternal grandparents Wayne and Jackie Carter of Gorham, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Happy Wheels, 331 Warren Ave, Portland.
