Margaret was born on October 25, 1951 in Portland, ME, daughter of the late Philip F. Ashley and New Zealand born Margaret G. (Webb) Ashley. She was a South Portland resident all her life, attended local area schools, and graduated from South Portland High School.
Margaret loved loons, peach blossoms, Mary Janes, and she spent time volunteering as a Brownie Troop Leader.
Besides her mother, Margaret is survived by her daughter Trina R. Knowles and her husband Brian S. Knowles of Salisbury, MA, a son Philip Ladeau of South Portland, ME, brother Peter, sisters Paula, Charlene and Valerie, four grandchildren, two nieces, and a nephew.
Margaret has left us with memories of her undying spirit and gusto for life and laughter. We love you and revel in the thought that you will be enjoying the company of Dad, Larry, and Robin Williams.
