Norma Carrie Brissette

She was born in Castine, ME on September 10th, 1947, to Clarissa and Willard Carter.

She was caring, compassionate, and dedicated to helping others, and worked in the medical field as a CNA. She had a love for children, especially all her babies. Her heart was big; her kindness and generosity had no boundaries. She was always there for everyone and known as Nana to many! She had a passion for the ocean and the beaches. She loved to read, play games on the computer, and grocery shop. She loved to cook for others and was always planning the next meal. Norma also very much loved her fur babies.

Norma was predeceased by her parents Clarissa and Willard Carter, her beloved Uncle Pete (Malcolm Carter), brothers Bill and Jonny Carter and her daughter Merry Carter.

She is survived by her children: Billie Jo Foster of Windham, Bonnie Brissette of Windham, Carrie Brown of Turner and Rick Brissette of Turner; her 10 grandchildren: Harrison, Randie-Jo, Charissa, Danial, Joey, Gabrielle, Rachel, Emily, Cayla, Colby, her 9 great grandchildren: Amelya, Mitchell, Michael, Brian, Emmitt, Bentley, Novalinn, Jeremiah & Elijah; her sister Brenda Burke and brother Mike Carter and her beloved Aunt Neeta (Wahneeta Carter) of Sedgwick.

A private family gathering will be held on her birthday, September 10th, and her ashes will be scattered.

Norma, a beloved soul that touched the lives of so many will be missed. She will live forever in our hearts.
