Ralph was born in Lubec, Maine, to Ralph E. Morrison Sr and Ann Wallace. Ralph attended the local schools in Lubec. Ralph and his family moved to Bar Harbor Maine when he was a teen and eventually moved to Kittery.
Ralph in his early years was employed by Portland area restaurants as a chef. Ralph later continued employment as a custodian at Pineland Center, several Nursing facilities Portland Me, and then after retirement continued to work as a custodian at MSAD 51 school district for eleven years. He was very proud of the work that he did and instilled a strong work ethic in his children and grandchildren.
Ralph found pleasure in spending time with his family. He was always available to lend a hand and would help all that was in need. Ralph loved a good party, and family gatherings. We were so fortunate to have one last celebration for him to enjoy and spend time with all that loved him. Dad will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and outdoor tasks. You would frequently find him doing yard work or mowing the lawn every Saturday whether it needed it or not. Papa loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely, and he was Papa to all family and friends. Ralph will be fondly remembered for his love of Dunkin Donut coffee, he could always be found with a” great one” in his hand. He so enjoyed all the special connections he made, thank you Ashley our coffee girl for always having Ralph’s back and his special order of course.
Ralph will be dearly missed by all. He touched many lives, he was a Dad, Grampa and Papa to all. Ralph is survived by his wife of 58 years Audrey I Morrison, children Sharon Leighton of North Yarmouth, Basil Morrison and wife LeAnn Morrison of Pownal, Greg Morrison and wife Patricia Morrison of North Yarmouth, Brenda Thomas and husband Peter Thomas of Gray, Leanna Stackhouse and husband Keith Stackhouse of North Yarmouth.
