With heavy hearts, the Kilton family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved Richard G. Kilton. He was born in Portland, Maine on March 6, 1941, to Francis and Shirley Kilton. He sadly passed away on December 9th at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was a jet engine machinist at Pratt & Whitney in CT for 30 years. He enjoyed canning and baking pies with Carol for craft fairs and flea markets. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much.
He is pre-deceased by his long-time partner, Caroline Cluff, and son, Darryl Kilton. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and brother. He is survived by 4 children, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, 3 brothers, as well as nieces, nephews, and good friends.
There will not be a service but there will be a celebration of life at Roger’s Pond in Kennebunk at a later date.
In support of the Kilton family, please consider donating to the Kidney Foundation.
