RoberRobert (Dubie) Dubois, 79, of 77 Pinewood Rd, Lewiston, died on Saturday, March 28th. He was born September 5th, 1946 in Lewiston to Rosario and Cora (Lauze) Dubois and resided most of his adult life in California before returning to Maine last year.
Dubie served in the Air Force before becoming a civil mechanic, spending the majority of his career at Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. He enjoyed golf, fishing, woodworking, and was an avid reader. Dubie loved, and was loved by, his family and will be missed.
Dubie was predeceased by his parents, both wives, Raylene Watson and Barbara Harmon, siblings Joline Ashker, Rosemarie Trocki, Paul Dubois, and a niece, Taylor Dubois.
Surviving are his step children Chris (Lisa) Dubois, Misti (Jamal) Hamilton, and Deb Wilson, all of CA, as well as his sisters Venise Guyette of Idaho, Peggy (Maurice) Girard of Texas, Rachel Dubois of California and Therese Dubois of Lewiston, and brothers, Don (Ann Marie) of Skowhegan, Andre (Sanae) of Georgia, and Bill of Lewiston, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and his lifelong friend, Jack Fitchner.
