May 30, 1980 - July 19, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sarah Jane Dyer Cavallaro of Yarmouth, Maine on July 19, 2025.
Born on May 30, 1980, Sarah was a radiant and unforgettable presence - someone who was easy to love and impossible to forget. Her brilliant blue eyes, infectious smile, and joyful laugh lit up every room she entered. She had an incredible sense of style and a unique artistic vision that showed in everything she touched.
Sarah was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Josie and James Cavallaro, whom she adored more than anything. They were the center of her world, and her love for them knew no bounds. She filled their lives with laughter, music, creativity and love.
An exceptional cook, a gifted photographer, and a passionate artist, Sarah had a flair for life and a deeply sentimental soul. She was smart, thoughtful, and had a deep appreciation for beauty. She especially loved live music and the magic of music festivals, where she found joy and connection.
Sarah was also an outstanding athlete in high school - strong, competitive, and determined - qualities that remained part of her spirit throughout her life.
She is survived by her beloved children Josie and James Cavallaro; her mother Mary Louise Dyer; her sister Louise LeBlanc and brother-in-law Dorian LeBlanc; her nephews Andrew Jacques (Marie), William LeBlanc, and Matthew LeBlanc; and a wide circle of extended family and lifelong friends who loved her deeply. She was predeceased by her father, Ralph Dyer, whom she carried in her heart always.
Everyone who knew Sarah is devastated by her loss. She died far too young, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, creativity, and kindness. Her memory will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched.
Sarah’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
“Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.”
-Grateful Dead, Box of Rain
A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held on August 1, 2025 at 2pm in the Tent at Pineland Farms.
Memorial gifts may be made to New England Donor Services, 60 First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451 (http://neds.org/give/), or the charity of your choice.
