

Steven Duane Boom passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 19, 1958, Steven was a resident of Lewiston, Maine. He was known for being hard-working, adventurous, loyal, honest, and generous.
In his early life, Steven made friends easily. Due to his father's work, he traveled extensively and lived in many states. This exposure to various places and cultures enriched his life and broadened his perspectives.
Steven had a deep love for the outdoors, which was reflected in his personal interests and hobbies. He enjoyed his long 10-mile walks each day, and he was passionate about hiking, canoeing, and spending time at the beach. His love of eagles and the natural world was evident to all who knew him. After moving to Maine, Steven felt a profound connection to the state and knew it was his true home. Additionally, he was an avid collector of unique bottles of liquor, a testament to his appreciation for the unusual, even though he never took a sip.
Steven is survived by his mother Rena Wolzen, his 4 brothers Greg (Selena), Mike, Randy, Donnie (Holly) and his 2 sisters Sue (Don) and Bari. He also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Ted and his sister Debbie.
Steven Duane Boom will be remembered fondly for his adventurous spirit and unwavering loyalty. His honesty and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
