Barbara Keith, 72, of Raleigh, passed away July 7, 2012. Born on January 12, 1940 in Cleveland Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Donald House, Sr. and Flora House. She lived in Pinebluff, NC, from 1973-2004 before moving to Raleigh. Barbara retired as a police officer in Pinehurst, NC. She attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Raleigh. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dale Jenkins, a sister, Virginia Knox and two brothers, Robert House and Donald House, Jr.
Surviving are: two sons, Keith Jenkins and his wife, Dorothy Jenkins of Raleigh, Terry Jenkins, and his wife, Monica Jenkins of Texas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her sister, Betty Cotten of Ohio.
The family will receive friends 2 PM- 3 PM Tuesday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 7600 Falls of Neuse Road Raleigh, where funeral services will follow at 3 PM. Share your condolences at www.brownwynne.com
