Carolyn Jewel Haskins Fort walked through the gates of heaven on May 17, 2025. Although she worked 25 plus years at GlaxoSmithKline, then as an administrative assistant to both Restoration Church and Providence, she gave her life to two things: her Savior Jesus Christ, and her family. To know Carolyn was to love her, and to love her was to be loved by her.
She is survived by her two children, Phil Medlin and Julie Medlin; along with Phil’s wife Linda and children: Phillip, Juju, Lexi; Valerie and Eli Wheeler. She also deeply cherished her nieces, Brooke and Trey Threatt, Courtney and Adam Andrews.
A celebration service will be held June 8, 2025 at 4:00 at Providence Church 6339 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, 27612, with a party at the Medlin house to follow.
