David Larry Suits

David was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Allen Suits and Myrtle Warner Suits, and his siblings Bobbie Suits Smith, Ann Suits Baliles, Henry Allen Suits Jr., Beverly Suits Gardner, John William Suits, Priscilla Suits Coniber, Toni Antoinette Suits, and Michael Suits.

He will be forever loved and missed by his daughter, Dixie Champion (Richard); his granddaughters, Lauren Higgins and Lindsey Champion; and his siblings Kay Suits Tiller (Gerald), Paul Alexander Suits (Lynn), Donna Suits Hoffman (Rex), and James Jackson Suits (Jane). He also leaves behind seven nieces, seven nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

David graduated from Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, North Carolina, in 1963 and proudly served in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he built a successful career in the dental equipment industry, beginning as a technician and working his way into sales. He was well respected within the dental community and known for his professionalism and integrity.

David had a deep love for traveling, sailing, spending time at the beach, and especially golfing. The golf course was one of his happiest places, where he enjoyed not only the game itself but the camaraderie and laughter shared with friends and family.

Above all, he will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful person who valued his friendships and cherished his family. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his dear friends John Yager, Tom DiGregorio, Jimmy Battista, and the late Ed Yager for their friendship and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Marsh Creek Community Center, Multipurpose Room, 3050 N. New Hope Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
