Dorothy was born April 8, 1927 in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Moody McDaniel Jones and Eva Peay Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband A. Linwood Lindsey.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Roslyn Robinson; grandchildren, J.A. Crumpler III; and Morgan McConchie all of Raleigh; sisters, Charlotte Marie Marshall of Salem, VA; and Moody Mae Mountcastle of Danville, VA.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Mountain View Cemetery in Danville, VA.
