Ed Watson

Ed Watson passed away on Tuesday, May 26. He is survived by his wife, Wendi; adored, cherished children Ryan and Emma; furry companions Nelli and George; mother Florence Watson; siblings Beverly, Jack, and Valerie; nieces and nephews Kellie, Mike, Jacqui (Rob), Jerry (Lauren & Jerbie), Andy (Alyese), Bryan and Ty; brothers-in-law Gerry and Chuck; mother-in-law Arlene; sister-in-law Jill; nieces Rachel and Molli; brother-in-law Steve.

Ed loved his Philadelphia roots: cheesesteaks, pretzels, the Phillies. He left Philly for NC, intent on making a good life for himself, and received his civil engineering degree from NC State. Through a successful career at IBM, he was so proud of his work. He loved Ocean City, traveling, the State Fair & Stockbridge. Ed was loved by so many, but above all, his pride and joy were Ryan and Emma, his wonderful, amazing kids. He loved them so. What a great dad he was. What a great man he was.

Remember Ed as a strong, successful, funny, loved and proud man. But also when you think of Ed, take a moment to reach out, to embrace others, to show compassion to others in pain. We are lost without him. Goodbye my friend.
