Edie Allred Kuper, of Raleigh, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023, with her loving and devoted husband (John) by her side. She was born on March 24, 1947, to Stella Pauline and Arnil Ray Allred in Ellerbe, North Carolina.
Edie worked for ATT as a telephone operator for 35 years and retired in 2000.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Kuper, her daughter Tracey Kuper, son Jonathan Kuper, Granddaughter McKenzie Tison, Great Granddaughter August Wilkins, Brothers Cecil Allred (Anne), Donnie Allred, Roger Allred (Theresa), and sister Lauri Chriscoe (Ken). Sister-in-law Virginia "Ginny" Going, Martha Brinson (Robert), Nora Kuper (Bill) and Susan Allred.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Stella Pauline Allred, Father Arnil Allred, Brothers David Allred & Kenneth Allred.
Edie’s Celebration of Life will be held on January 20th at 2 pm, in the Fellowship Hall at Central Baptist Church located at 11109 Poole Rd. Wendell, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to send donations in Edie’s honor to your favorite charity.
