I am sorry for your loss, our loss. Im praying for your comfort, as  God  comforts the grieving.   In heaven he is painting and sculpting away. Funny memory I have of him is this: 
One day when we were looking at a box of cereal, he said to me " That's the best cereal you can ever buy!" "Look, it says it right on the box! "

Dear Tara:  I am so very, very sorry about Eric’s journey to Heaven.  Today I called you twice and then I called your Mother, and she told me.  I have tried calling you all for a very long time.  I loved him so much as much as I love you.  I am so very, very sorry.  I know you all loved each other dearly.  He was such a wonderful person, and there are not any doubts he is in Heaven right now and looking after you.  Please call me as soon as you can.

To Erics' family. I am sorry for your loss. Eric was a good person. He was always caring about other people. He loved living in Boulder. CO., where we met. He really enjoyed going out for French Onion Soup in Boulder on Pearl Street Mall. His sense of humor always got people laughing. He worked hard on his paintings, and enjoyed telling people about how he did them, the way he'd start out and then turn it upside down to finish. He missed his mom, and would talk about her often. He was a good friend, who will never be forgotten.
