Gary Joseph Brown

He was born on May 28, 1964, in Lynn, MA and has been a long time resident of Clayton, N.C. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Brown, of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Laurie Ann Farwell and a brother Scott Brown, of Raleigh, N.C. He also leaves a nephew, Ryon Farwell, a niece, Megan Farwell and a great nephew, Carson Farwell, all of St. Louis, MO. He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph W. Brown, from Philadelphia, PA.; his grandparents, Ralph and Clara Brown, of Saugus, MA. and Irene and Fred Landry, of Salem, MA.

Gary was employed by Grifols in Clayton for nearly 13 years as an electrical maintenance engineer. Gary was an avid New England Patriot fan and enjoyed golf, the beach, horseshoes, cornhole, darts, music, and fishing. Motorcycling and especially spending time with family & many friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 12 p.m. at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.
