Jerry was 64 years old. He was born on February 5th, 1959, in Roosevelt LI New York to Jack and Maeve DeFino. Jerry attended Bailey Ellard High School and then graduated from Ramapo High School in 1977. Jerry worked many jobs early on including construction and carpet laying. He had the strength and work effort to do anything. Ultimately, Jerry’s real talent was in sales. He worked for many years with younger brothers Rick and David at Rick’s store, HiTec Outlet in PA. In 1995 Jerry’s sister Kathy found herself as a single Mom of three. Jerry packed up everything he owned and moved to Raleigh to be of help to her. He then began his career as a car salesman, and what a salesman he was! (He claimed that he could sell a car to Osama Bin Laden). Eight years ago, Jerry met the love of his life, Molly Mixon. Molly retired and the two of them made a wonderful life together along with their dog Scooby. Their passion was camping up at Falls Lake and they enjoyed being on the lake and swimming and kayaking. Jerry was predeceased by his mother Maeve DeFino and brother Robert DeFino. He is survived by his dad; Jack DeFino (Leanne); sister Kathy (Dan); and brothers John (Penny), Rick (Sharon), and David (Karen); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
