

He was born in South Bend, Indiana on April 9,1949. Jack graduated from the University of Maryland and received a Bachelors of Administration in Business.
Jack first and foremost is a family man and a trusted friend to many. Nothing made him happier than to be with his family and friends. His zest for life was so incredible. He was a man of many talents from playing the guitar, to owning a business for 25 years. Jack’s favorite place to be was at the beach with family and friends. He loved swimming in the ocean and boating in the sound.
He was an extremely moral and loving person with a wonderful sense of humor. He passed with a serene smile on his face knowing in his heart that he could now be at peace. He had an ability to naturally relate to people in such a tender way and was loved by so many people.
Jack is survived by his wife Kathy of 30 years; his two children, his daughter Amy VanCooney and her husband Ryan and 1 grandchild Ethan of Raleigh, NC; his son Kevin Nesline of Raleigh, NC; his mother, Bernadine Nesline of Silver Spring, MD; his brother, Richard Nesline of Worthington, OH; his two sisters, Christine Nesline of Silver Spring, MD and Mary Ellen Howard of Rockville, MD; his nieces; and the rest of his family and friends. His father Richard A. Nesline, Sr. preceded Jack in death.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613) on October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Father David McBriar officiating. A reception will take place at Joe and Geanie Slifer’s home (916 Oxgate Circle, Raleigh, NC 27615) after the funeral mass.
