I was saddened to hear of Larry's passing.  I worked with Larry for many years at Rhone-Poulenc both in New Jesey and RTP.  He was a dedicated professional that could communicate complicated technical issues in an understandable way. I haven't seen Larry in more than 15 years, but I think of him often since several woodworking tools from his Griggstown, NJ shop are still in use in my garage.  My deepest symapthies to the Spicer family.

I had the opportunity to work for Larry for about 12 years.  He was nice, caring, and a wonderful man, learning much from him about work and life in general.  Like many, still remember his strolls with his pipe, the fragrance hanging around for some time after.   Also, his mighty Blue Z, sporting to work every day but finally hanging it up for the Tundra as he ventured out to suburbia where he could enjoy the birds, flowers and trees.  He will be missed.

I was saddened to learn of Larrys' passing. I worked for Mr. Spicer for several years and he was both a boss and a friend. He was delightful to work with as his disposition was always positive and outgoing. I will remember his always having a sticky bun and coffee for breakfast, of his smoking a pipe (Classy in my book), his peculiar way of throwing a tennis ball up to serve and then hesitating before hitting the ball making me think he was not going to hit that serve at all, of his pleasant smile and intelligence. I am disappointed that I will not be in North Carolina for the services but Azuca please know that he and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. John Wright

Have been privileged to work around Larry and I know he will be much missed.  He had such a lovely smile and always a kind word.  My prayers are with you at this sad time and may the Lord comfort you as He alone can.

Larry was a faithful member of the Congregation Council, a meticulous member of the Finance Committee, and he
enjoyed his involvement in the book club at Grace. It was a joy to have been his pastor. Azuca, may God be with you, and may his blessings be upon

I will always remember my colleague Larry's love of good food, gardening and fine pipe tobacco.

Larry was a kind and generous man. If you knew Larry three things where always on his mind. Azuka, Winston, and his garden. He loved all three very much. Larry was always on an endless pursuit to find the next unique plant. He loved to talk about the different types of Viburnum he had scattered throughout the landscape. Larry will greatly be missed and I to will miss the sweet smell of his pipe.

May you always remain blessed my Dear Azuca...The love you found in Larry is simply a privilege that will always stay alive within you...

And thus we shall always be with the Lord."

Larry was such a nice, friendly man.  We will miss seeing him walking Winston with his pipe. Our street will not be the same without him.

Azuca, John I are so sorry for your loss.  May the Lord give you the strength you need and the peace to go through this difficult time.

I have very fond memories of Larry out working in the yard and smelling the scent of his pipe.  I will miss seeing him out and about with Winston.  He was such a nice man and we enjoyed having him as a neighbor.  He will be missed.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
