Lisa Nicole Dossary

Lisa Nicole Gouldie Dossary, 29, of Raleigh, North Carolina peacefully passed away at her family’s home on July 2 following a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her husband, mother, father and grandmother. She was born in Raleigh on April 19, 1983.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Dossary, son, Dylan Dossary, parents John and Kathy Gouldie, brothers, Jason Gouldie and wife Janna, of Raleigh, Brian Gouldie and wife, Shawna of Denver, CO, sister, Amanda Brendle and husband, Michale of Greenville, NC and grandmother, Wanda Gouldie of Austin, TX.

Lisa was a 2001 graduate of Sanderson High School and was a member of the Spartan Marching Band. She later graduated from Wake Tech earning three associate degrees. Lisa was a devoted mother and dedicated wife but found time to be a creative and avid crafter using recycled everyday items turning them into innovative and useful products for her friends and relatives. Lisa, her sister and mother pooled their crafting talents to make and sell handmade goods in the many craft shows within the Raleigh area.

The Dossary and Gouldie families will receive relatives and friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Raleigh. The families will receive visitors at the church starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Raleigh Memorial Park immediately following the funeral Mass.
