Margaret A. Miles

Margaret A. Miles, 85, passed away on September 14, 2014. She had a love of the ocean, family, and friends. Margaret was a graduate of The College of Mt. Saint Vincent College and was a teacher in the New Jersey public school system for over 45 years. Her work ethic was unwavering. At the age of 67, after her years with the school system, she then became the office manager, and worked side by side with her sons at Microthermics of Raleigh. She finally decided to retire at age 80.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack Miles. She is survived by her children; Andrea Schempp, John Miles, Jeanne Marie Evans, David Miles, brothers; Mal Kenney and David Kenney, eight grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd.,Raleigh on Friday, September 19,2014 at 6 p.m. The family will receive friends at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made in her memory to Catholic Parish Outreach, Raleigh.
