

Margaret Harriett Collings Muster died October 5, 2011 at Rex Hospital of natural causes. Born on July 7, 1923 in Paris, Idaho, the daughter of Simpson Lyman Collings and Olive Pearl DeRenzy Collings. She married John Henry Muster, Jr. on February 27, 1944 in Marathon, New York.
Mrs. Muster is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and actively participated as a volunteer in the genealogy library of the Raleigh Stake for over 30 years. In addition, she and her husband were self-employed as proprietors of a poultry farm in Wake County for many years and then she was employed by J.C. Penny at the North Hills Mall.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Cathy Richardson of Magna, Utah and Wanda Floyd Callanan of Wake Forest, NC and 2 sons, John Wayne Muster, of Stuart’s Draft, Virginia and William Muster of Raleigh. By her brother, William Collings, of Easton, Maryland and her sister, Betty Prater, of Yuma, Arizona. She had 24 grandchildren, 42-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (1701 E. Millbrook Road). Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 7, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (5060 Six Forks Road), with interment to follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
