Pamela J. Brett

Pam was born August 9, 1945 in California to Glenn and Lucy McPhie. A member of St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and strong in her faith, Pam was a selfless woman who cared deeply about everyone; from family to strangers, she regularly made her home available to anyone in need. Pam volunteered on a regular basis at many different organizations. Pam will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend of Bill’s. She will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known her.

Pam is survived by her husband, Elmer “Jim” Brett; son, Shawn Mitchell and his wife Rosemary; grandchildren, Charles, Connor and Andrew Mitchell and other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, followed by Interment at Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave) and a subsequent reception at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home.
