Priscilla Fisher Hart

Priscilla Hart, 79, of Raleigh, died January 12, 2026, at Cadence North Raleigh, after a few years of declining health. She was born the youngest daughter of the late Ollie Thomas Fisher and Jewell Cottrell Fisher on October 22, 1946.

Priscilla was a stay-at-home mother until her daughter was a teenager, and was very active in her daughter's schools and extracurricular activities. She worked at WRAL for many years and enjoyed her time and the friends she met there.

Priscilla loved to read, travel, socialize with friends, and shag dancing. She spent many years dancing with the Society of Stranders (SOS) group.

Priscilla loved going to church and the community of friends she met there. When Priscilla became a grandmother, she cherished her time with her twin grandchildren and actively participated in their care and upbringing.

Priscilla is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hart Jay (Chad), grandchildren Ryder and Delaney Jay, sister Shelby Fisher Jeffreys, and many cousins.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 30th, at 2:00 PM, with the service following at 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 4815 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
