Richard (Dick) M. Corbin died April 8, 2014, unexpectedly. He was born August 9, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa, where he grew up, joined the army, attended Drake University, and began his work in the insurance industry. He also lived and worked in Denver, Colorado; Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; before retiring as VP of Data Processing in Raleigh, NC. He enjoyed golf, cribbage, pool, and both playing and calling bingo.
Surviving him are his wife of 57 years, Pat, of Raleigh; his children Rob, Rich, and Michelle; daughters-in-law Lisa and Dianne; son-in-law Earl; and his grandchildren, Danielle, Nikki, and Jenna. Also surviving him are his brothers, Paul and Don, and many nieces and nephews.
His immediate family will hold a private “Celebration of Life” service at The Heritage in Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: All Saints Anglican Church (725 North Boylan Avenue ~ Raleigh, NC 27605 ~ Memo: In memory of Dick Corbin).
