She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Bennie Ralph McMinis Sr; children, Bennie R. McMinis Jr, Ramona M. McWhorter, Richard Wayne McMinis, and William Lester McMinis; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church, 4815 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, on Saturday, February 17, 2018 starting at 10am, with a funeral service beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh.
