Ruth was preceded in death by her husband James A. Poole. She is survived by her children, James A Poole, Jr., Jean Ann Wray, Dennis Bailey and wife Carol, and Marie B. Stegall; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and longtime friend, Clay Robinson.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd, Raleigh NC 27609. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
