Surviving are: his wife, of 30 years, Cynthia Lee Calhoun; a son, Will Calhoun of Raleigh; a daughter, Chris Fernandes of Florida; a grandchild, Zoe Willis of Florida; two sisters, Dee (Ron) Forrester and Sara Calhoun, both of Maryland; two brothers, Rick and Mike Calhoun of Maryland.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat of Wake County.
