Becky attended Cary High School, and married Guy Moore, Sr. She met Guy when she was seven and became his wife of 53 years. He was a neighbor who treated her to a push in a swing. Guy later joined the military but one look at Becky when he was on leave from the Navy… and the rest was history. Guy and Becky had 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Becky was a servant of Jehovah God for 60 years. She spent many years volunteering side by side with her friends. Her best friends have shared their faith, hope and love. During her years of sickness these wonderful friends never failed to bring their smiles and encouragement.
The Moore family is so thankful to all those who have shown kindness during Becky’s illness. How well the words of the Psalm must apply: “Do not throw me away in the time of old age; Just when my power is failing, do not leave me.” (Psalm 71:9)
Becky is survived by her daughter Luanne Hammond and her husband Jeffery of Cary; Sons, Daniel E. Moore and his wife Susanne of Wake Forest; Andrew Moore; and Guy Moore Jr and his wife Barbara. Predeceased by her son Charles Patrick Moore; Grandchildren include Jodi, Rebecca, Daniel, Hannah, Jennifer, Emily, Amaryllis, Bernard and Charlotte; 5 great grandchildren and brother Joseph Grissom.
