

Wilhelmina (Mina) McAloon, 86, died Sunday, April 12, 2015. A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, she was born September 28, 1928 to the late Henry and Mary Kennedy. Mina resided in Raleigh for over 20 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Raleigh and an active participant in the parish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis McAloon, and a son, Francis T. McAloon.
She is survived by two sisters, Harriett Lismore of Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland and Eileen Daly of Croydon, Surrey, England; and two brothers, David Kennedy of Ballynahinch, County Down, Northern Ireland and John Kennedy of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Also surviving is a daughter, Janette Lucy of Raleigh; two sons, Paul McAloon of Florida and Tony McAloon and his wife, Marian, of London, England; seven grandchildren, Evan Lucy of Washington, DC, Jennifer Lasater of Illinois, Frank McAloon of Illinois, Jonathan McAloon of Texas and Fergus, Olivia and Innes McAloon of London, England; and six great grandchildren, Jack and Andrew Lasater, Heyden and Broden McAloon, and , Austin and Matthew McAloon.
