

William F. Dockery Sr., born February 15, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lived in Southwest Phila. Until 1960 when he moved to Folcroft, Pa. Where he and his former wife raised four children. William F. Jr.(who preceded him in death in 2006), Brian P. (who preceded him in death in 1982), Lynn T. Dockery-Dittus-Chadwick, BethAnn Dockery-Johnston-DeGeorge, his two daughters residing in Delaware County, as well as son-in-laws, James DeGeorge respectfully. Also survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia Foster-Fauber-Dockery and four Step-Children, the late Donald Fauber and wife Nida, JoEtta Drummond and husband Mark, Cindy Clendenin, and Ronald Fauber.
Bill attended Most Blessed Sacrament and St. Francis DeSales parochial schools and West Philadelphia Catholic High School completing high school in 1954. Enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 1954 and served on full time active duty status from 1956 to 1967. Also served in the U.S. Army Reserve for a short period of time and obtained Honorable Discharges for all his service. Upon leaving his National Guard service he worked at the U.S. Army Support Center in South Phila.until 1974 whereby he was offered a job with the Federal Aviation Administration retiring in 1993 with total Government Service of 37 years of service including
military.
Bill was also preceded in death by two of his older brothers Thomas J and Sister-in-law, Eruana Dockery in 2012 & 2013 respectfully, and John ( Jack Dockery ) in 2015, with a surviving sister in-law Jacquelene Dockery.
