Blaine Vansickle was born December 5, 1933, in Twin Falls, Idaho. He passed away March 19, 2017, in Redding, CA. He was 83. After serving in the Army, he worked for the City of Red Bluff for 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, but his true passion was fishing at Grace Lake. Blaine is survived by, son, James Vansickle, daughter Linda Nelson, 2 brothers, 5 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Ellen, his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson. Services will be held Saturday March 25, at 12:00pm, at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers.
